Fried Chicken
We will cover two different
ways to fry your chicken:
No.1
1.5 cups flour
1-tsp. salt or to taste
½-tsp. black pepper, or to taste
1.5-T
Satan's Breath® Fried Chicken Stuff
3-pounds chicken pieces
Mix the first four items together blending good. After
it is mixed,
put it in a paper sack, add the chicken, Shake well to cover
chicken.
Put 2” of Crisco or Wesson Oil in a black cast iron.
Using a
Thermometer, bring the oil to 350ºF and begin frying
the chicken. Lay chicken in pan loose. Don’t
crowd. Do the larger pieces first. Fry the chicken until
golden brown, about 25 minutes. Turn often. Drain
on a couple slices of bread or paper towels.
No. 2
1-cup buttermilk
1-egg
1-cup flour
1.5-T
Satan's Breath® Fried Chicken Stuff
1-tsp salt, or to taste

Mix the first 7 items together to make the batter. Put
2” of Crisco or Wesson Oil in a black cast iron. Using
a thermometer, bring the oil to 350ºF. Dredge chicken
thru batter and begin frying the chicken. Lay chicken in
pan loose. Don’t crowd. Do the larger pieces
first. Fry the chicken until golden brown, about 25 minutes.
Turn often. Drain on a couple slices of bread or paper
towels.
